Are Ayrshire Power planning to have any public meetings?

No – Ayrshire Power are not planning to have any open public meetings. They have advised us that “public meetings or gatherings do not offer a proper or effective forum for balanced discussion or sensible debate and as such we feel that such meetings are not the most suitable way to proceed.”

Ayrshire Power will instead be holding a limited number of “community consultation surgeries”. These will be held in private, on weekdays and on an appointment basis. You are asked to email your questions in advance to Ayrshire Power. If you don’t have an appointment you may still get seen, but will have to wait longer.

The surgeries will be held:

1pm – 9pm on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 June at Largs Sailing Club, Irvine Road, Largs

12pm – 7pm on Thursday 1st July at Garrison House, Millport, Isle of Cumbrae.

Are CONCH having a public meeting?

Yes. We are having an open public meeting on Monday 28th June at 7.45 pm at:
West Kilbride Village Hall,
Arthur Street,
West Kilbride,
KA23 9EN.
There will be both speakers and information stalls. You do not need to book an appointment to attend!

How can I find out more information?

Ayrshire Power say they will update their website , but in the past they have been very slow to do this.

If you can't find what you need you can, keep checking back here on the website or email us to be added to our mailing list for email news alerts.
